Plans have been put in to Dacorum Borough Council for the demolition of ‘The Bull’ Pub (and barn) at the bottom of Bovingdon High Street, and the development of the site to provide 7 dwellings.  There would be 3 two bedroom apartments and 1 one bedroom studio flat in a two storey building on the Church Street/Chipperfield Road corner, linked over an archway to a terrace of 3 two bedroom cottages along Church Street.

The Bull

‘The Bull’ (17th/18th century) is a Locally Listed Building in the Conservation Area, and is an important part of the village gateway at ‘The Well’
