Fast and Furious 6 is an action film being filmed currently at Bovingdon airfield and written by Chris Morgan and directed by Justin Lin. It is the sixth installment in the Fast and the Furious film series. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Luke Evans will star.

Fast Six was in development by February 2010 as the first film in the series to move away from the underground car-racing theme of the series’ previous films which was considered to have placed a barrier on audience numbers.

Pre-production begun in April 2011, and principal photography began in Shepperton and Bovingdon in July 2012. Filming locations also include the Canary Islands and Glasgow, Scotland. The film is scheduled for release on May 24, 2013.

Sunday 4^th November at 4.00 p.m.

The annual Memorial Service at St Lawrence Church will take place one week earlier than in the past, on Sunday November 4th, and at the earlier time of 4.00pm.This will allow the opportunity to visit the church yard during daylight and then come into church for the service. 

During the service we will be reading out the names of those in the community we know of who have died during the last year, together with any others you would like to be remembered. The service will include an opportunity to light a candle for those we have lost, and we will be serving refreshments afterwards.

All are welcome to this moving and reflective occasion.

The MoJ have applied to Dacorum Council Planning department for permission for the contruction of a 44 cell house block and educational facilities at the Mount Prison.

Arriva will be making changes to a number of  services in Hertfordshire from 10th June, some to improve reliability and others to match the service provided more closely to demand.

52 HIGH WYCOMBE – HAZLEMERE – AMERSHAM – CHESHAM – BOVINGDON – HEMEL HEMPSTEAD
– This service will no longer run, being replaced in part by revised Services 62 and 353.

353 – This service will be extended beyond Amersham to run hourly via the present Service 52 route to Chesham, Berkhampstead Road, Bovingdon and Hemel Hempstead, serving Hemel Hempstead rail and bus stations. These buses will not serve Pond Park Estate on Mondays to Saturdays.
– On Sundays the existing Service 52 timetable and route via Pond Park Estate will continue to apply but will be numbered as 353.
